The first dental visit to Zhang Dental is extremely important. It is at this appointment that the baseline of your oral health is established, and a plan is created to address any treatment needs that you may have. We begin by taking x-rays, which are crucial to locate any hidden problems. Dr. Zhang then completes a very thorough comprehensive oral examination to locate cavities, bone loss, gum disease, TMJ, abscesses or defective dental work, as well as oral cancer and other diseases. This examination also determines what type of dental cleaning is necessary to meet your individual needs. A treatment plan, with all the available options, will then be explained to you to address all the problems that were found. Most new patients are amazed at the detail, attention, and time that they are given.

Make an Appointment
To provide optimum care for each individual, patients are seen by appointment only. Remember that appointment times are reserved especially for you, and your promptness will be greatly appreciated. If you realize a scheduling conflict will not allow you to keep that appointment, please contact the office at least 24 hours in advance so that we may offer that time slot to another patient.
Dental Insurance Programs
We acccept most of the insurance plans. Some of the plans our patients subscribe to include Delta Dental, MetLife, Aetna and Blue Cross, just to name a few. Our team will assist you in obtaining the maximum insurance benefit, making the remaining balance easily affordable.
Payment Options
For treatments not covered by insurance and for insurance co-payment, we accept payment options like cash, credit card and personal checks.
